New year, new muscles! Newly legal Justin Bieber has packed on the muscle and he’s proud of it. The “Baby” singer, who turned 21 earlier this month, covers the April 2015 issue of Men’s Health and looks more grown up than ever — and according to some, a bit enhanced.

The former YouTube star flaunts his muscles on the magazine’s “Reinvention Issue” cover, wearing only low-hanging sweatpants and nothing else. In a behind-the-scenes video, the singer denies the black-and-white snap was altered.

“I love the fact that I got in shape the past two years and I’m finally getting the recognition for it,” a clothed Bieber tells the camera. “It’s not Photoshopped for all you fools out there saying it’s Photoshopped."

The magazine even made a point to prove his pics are au naturel, tweeting on Wednesday, March 4: “Our April issue has @justinbieber—can he reinvent himself? See 10 (unphotoshopped) photos” along with a link to more pics of the Biebs working out.

Selena Gomez’s ex told the magazine he’s gotten so much buffer that his “shoulders don’t fit in some things” now, and his physique isn’t the only thing that’s different about him.

“This has really been a big year for me, as far as figuring stuff out,” he admitted. “This is almost like a full 180 from how I was. Yesterday — a year from yesterday — I was in jail.”
